We're looking for a seasoned Payroll Specialist to join a fast-paced and growing team for our client in the Milpitas area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and manage complex payroll operations with confidence and accuracy.

?? Key Responsibilities:

  • Process full-cycle payroll for up to 300 employees across multiple states
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reporting
  • Administer 401(k) contributions and deductions
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on audits and reporting

? Requirements:

  • 5+ years of payroll experience
  • Paycom software proficiency is a must
  • Experience processing multi-state payroll (minimum 4 states)
  • Strong understanding of 401(k) and other benefit deductions
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
